We decided to head out to celebrate the 5th Anniversary of the day we met. This place has always been important to us as I asked her to marry me in 2019 and she said yes! It is smaller than I remember, however very romantic and excellent food and service. Good calamari to start, some Gavi wine and excellent shrimp pesto pasta for both. Left happy and full. If you are in downtown Brooklyn check it out! You won't be disappointed.
Focaccia was excellent. Pizza is solid thin crust, so you if you like this style, you will be happy.
This place is super chic and small Italian vibes! They have a beautiful small sit in restaurant and a pizza take out next door. We had their pizza since we were in a little bit of a rush and the pizza came out quick and was very delicious! Very fresh ingredients and the service was excellent. Very attentive but not overly attentive. Would come here to eat again!
Family and Friends celebrated my little girl's 6th Birthday at Disney On Ice in the Barclay's Center. Broccolino was right across the street and what kids don't love pasta and fresh brick oven pizza? We ordered the following items for lunch: - Lemon Chicken - Arugula Salad - Margherita Pizza - Pasta w/ butter (For the kids) - Nduja Pizza (Spicy - just a little kick) We dined in the outdoor area where every group experiences its own separate space equipped with its own heating lamp and mellow music. The service was impeccable and they were really accommodating with seating our group and ensuring our comfort. When the bill came, I thought it was a nice touch presenting it in an Italian novel. Surprisingly, for a group of our size, the tip was not included. This is always refreshing to see because I always feel like staff are better incentivized to provide an optimal experience...and sometimes I may want to give 20-25% as a tip than the 18% they usually add on automatically. Last thing, and this is more about older infrastructure than a reflection of the restaurant, the one bathroom in the main space is TINY! You will probably have about 4" of space on all sides of you in there so ¡Buena Suerte!, it is Park Slope after all!
The best Gnocchi... by a mile... I have ever had. This place has always been good. THIS was STUNNING! Friendly, excellent service. You can get lunch in an hour if you are working at Barclays!
Well, here I go again. I was lucky enough to eat here twice in a 2-weeks time span. I focused on trying something new since I'm obsessed with their Pollo Alla Milanese. How could a dish so simple be so delicious? This time I ordered the pesto pasta and it was delightful. The pasta was tender and warm. There was a sufficient amount of pesto sauce all throughout the pasta. Trust me when I tell you, I'm truly am a sauce lover. They had a white, creamy, buttery, garlic sauce I had the first time I ate here back in 2018 which still lingers in my mind. Back to the pasta, each bite was evenly coated with the savory pesto sauce. I had to really focus to leave some for the next day. I'm big on leftovers. A Few Days Later... Instead of writing yet ANOTHER review, I'll add my take-out experience here. I couldn't resist and ordered my favorite the Cotoletta Di Pollo Alla Milanese. It was...as per usual...amazing! The chicken was crispy and crunchy, perfectly dippable in what I'd hope to be the same sauce from 2018. I asked for my dreamy, creamy sauce on the side, but unfortunately, it wasn't provided. They did send another sauce that was really good too, kudos to them for a great substitute. Will I be back you're asking yourself? . .. ...Yes, absolutely.
It was good. I stopped here on a random Wednesday evening and I was seated right away. The atmosphere was amazing. Set up outside was cozy. You can't help the cars that are going by tho @ the outdoor seating. The staff is super great. I was served promptly. I ordered the Margherita Pizza as well as the Mojito. Service is everything. I'd come again because of how well I was treated
